PhotoArt by Tony Mills
Photography is a fantastically creative medium. Like the longer established medium of paint, styles and interpretation of subjects is only limited by our own imaginations. With my photoart I am trying to explore these limits.
My love for the medium of photography pre-dates the digital era. I had my own darkroom for printing both Black+White and Colour (from slides).
Now, digital photography opens up infinitely more possibilities for post-image collection manipulation, and that excites me.
My preferred subjects are wildlife, nature and landscape, I'm always looking for that 'new' angle, or looking to enhance its inherent beauty, or trying to depict movement or behaviour, especially in birds.
Some images are available as Limited Edition Giclée Prints and others as unlimited editions. They are all made to archival standards and most are available as mounted only or mounted and framed prints. (See Your Guarantee)
In 2011 I moved to Cornwall, with its beautiful natural landscape, its mining heritage and its historic monuments, (see Cornwall and Stones: Neolithic Monuments galleries).
