Photography is a fantastically creative medium. Like the longer established medium of paint, styles and interpretation of subjects is only limited by our own imaginations. With my photoart I am trying to explore these limits.

My love for the medium of photography pre-dates the digital era. I had my own darkroom for printing both Black+White and Colour (from slides).

Now, digital photography opens up infinitely more possibilities for post-image collection manipulation, and that excites me.

My preferred subjects are wildlife, nature and landscape, I'm always looking for that 'new' angle, or looking to enhance its inherent beauty, or trying to depict movement or behaviour, especially in birds.

In 2011 I moved to Cornwall, with it's beautiful natural landscape, it's mining heritage and it's historic monuments, (see Cornwall and Stones: Neolithic Monuments galleries).
